"RTÉ said the latest report covered only part of its revamped schedule, namely October, November and December 2025. Its share of the listenership market has gone up marginally from 20.1pc to 20.3pc. The new schedule kicked off on November 10 following the recent departures of Byrne, Ray D'Arcy and Joe Duffy. Its flagship show 'Morning Ireland' also had a presenter shake-up with the addition of Sarah McInerney and Justin McCarthy to the team."
David McCullagh's 9-11am show averaged 440,000 listeners and is now the second most-popular show on Irish radio. Pat Kenny's weekday Newstalk audience rose by 10,000 to 206,000 as he exited the slot. Claire Byrne took over the morning slot. News at One stands at 279,000, down 5,000. Radio 1 retains top position with 467,000 listeners, down 4,000. Oliver Callan's new 11am-1pm show averaged 308,000 listeners; his previous 9-10am slot held 347,000 in November 2025. RTÉ's market share rose marginally from 20.1pc to 20.3pc after a revamped schedule beginning 10 November 2025. 2FM recorded drops across many shows, Lyric FM has been slowly gaining listeners, and Liveline showed no major changes.
