Staff at the Dublin and Cork Airport operator were informed by email last night that Mr Jacobs will no longer serve as chief executive. The exit package under consideration is valued at €1 million. The minister's position remains that he will not revisit the decision to approve the planned payment despite Jacobs stepping away from his executive role.
