Well, they also released a player recently, as Ari Alexander reported that Rodolfo Castro has been released for an opportunity to play in Japan. Castro will join the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters of Nippon Professional Baseball. In late November, the Blue Jays signed Castro to a minor league deal , meaning he never appeared in a game with the organization."

"All of his 2024 season was spent either on the injured list or with the Phillies' Triple-A team, the Lehigh Valley IronPigs.
