Mboko served for the match at 5-3 then lost her service game to love, later generating three match points at 5-4 before Tauson recovered. Mboko emphasized self-belief and composure in the decisive moments. The Canadian produced an authoritative final set to close out the win. Aryna Sabalenka advanced to the fourth round after beating Anastasia Potapova 7-6 (4), 7-6 (7), saving two set points in the second-set tiebreak.
