At Least Europe Cares About the Epstein Files
"In the U.K., former Prince Andrew (now Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor) and former Ambassador to the U.S. Peter Mandelson were arrested based on "misconduct in public office"; in Norway, former Prime Minister Thorbjørn Jagland was charged with "gross corruption"; and in France, an official investigation is under way into former Culture Minister Jack Lang."
"Meanwhile-aside from an extremely belated investigation into one of Epstein's ranches-the Trump administration has all but ignored the files, particularly when it comes to Republicans. No one seems interested in deposing Elon Musk, Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, or Donald Trump-who is mentioned more than 5,000 times."
"Yet the Republican-controlled House Oversight Committee grilled both Hillary and Bill Clinton for over six hours each last week. The Clintons both asked that the transcripts from their respective depositions be made"
Following the Justice Department's release of millions of pages documenting Jeffrey Epstein's extensive connections to powerful figures, at least eight countries launched nine investigations into the disgraced pedophile. Three countries arrested or charged individuals linked to Epstein, including the U.K.'s Prince Andrew and Peter Mandelson, Norway's former Prime Minister Thorbjørn Jagland, and France's former Culture Minister Jack Lang. Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Turkey, Slovakia, and the EU's anti-fraud office also initiated investigations. However, the Trump administration has largely ignored the files, particularly regarding Republican connections. Trump is mentioned over 5,000 times in the documents, yet no investigation into him or other Republican figures has been pursued. Meanwhile, the Republican-controlled House Oversight Committee extensively questioned Hillary and Bill Clinton.
