""She was just saying, 'Grace is a baby. She's dead. She's my friend,'" Emily tells TODAY.com of her daughter's matter-of-fact speech."
""He figured this would be a good way to introduce her to the area, since it's probably a place we'll be visiting quite a bit," Emily shares, noting that her mother's prognosis is grim."
""She was asking about each headstone," Emily says of her daughter."
""Wherever Grace Olsen's parents are, I hope they know how much my daughter loves theirs.""
The Fullers traveled from Arizona to Utah to spend time with Emily's mother, who has late-stage cancer. Emily's husband Johnny took their 2-year-old daughter Grace to a playground next to a cemetery, where Grace explored headstones and asked questions. Grace stopped at the gravesite of newborn Grace Olsen, who was born and died on June 14, 2016, and called the infant "Dead Grace." The toddler requested daily visits to the gravesite. Emily posted video of Grace's second visit with a caption expressing love for the Olsen family, and the posts garnered almost 20 million views, prompting online searches that reached the newborn's mother.
