Johannes Radebe will continue on Strictly Come Dancing as long as his body allows and regards the show as a sparkly, magical world. He partnered with actor Alex Kingston in the most recent series and also appears in the West End musical Kinky Boots. He was born in Zamdela, Orange Free State, South Africa, and moved to the UK in 2018 to join Strictly. He worked as a dance teacher in Johannesburg, performed on cruise ships, and won the Professional South African Latin championships twice. He experienced homophobic abuse growing up and witnessed a homophobic attack on a friend.
