Morris the alligator, known for Happy Gilmore and other films, dies around age 80
Briefly

Morris, the 11-foot alligator known for his film roles, including a famous scene in 'Happy Gilmore,' passed away at approximately 80. Adam Sandler paid tribute, recalling Morris's influential presence on set and unique advocacy for his craft. Rescued from an illegal pet situation in 1975, Morris became a Hollywood staple, appearing in numerous films and shows before retiring in 2006. The Colorado Gator Farm plans to preserve his body through taxidermy to honor his legacy and continue entertaining audiences in the future.
We have decided to get Morris taxidermied so that he can continue to scare children for years to come, the farm shared on Facebook.
You could be hard on directors, make-up artists, costumers really anyone with arms or legs but I know you did it for the ultimate good of the film.
