Clayton Kershaw, Freddie Freeman & More Dodgers' Reaction To George M. Steinbrenner Field
Briefly

The Tampa Bay Rays will host their 2025 season home games at George M. Steinbrenner Field because Tropicana Field sustained significant damage from Hurricane Milton. Repairs, including a roof replacement, are estimated to be completed by the beginning of the 2026 season. Accommodations were made with the New York Yankees, who share the field as a Spring Training site. Steinbrenner Field has a capacity of 11,026, though it will be capped at 10,046 for Rays games. Attendance was notably high during games against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
I thought the energy was good. We as the Dodgers, we travel well. People want to see Shohei play and see us play. It was a packed house, and I think the Rays and Major League Baseball are doing the best they can. It was hot and humid out there, but I think everyone is making the most of it. I'd pay money to watch Shohei play too.
For Rays' home games, Steinbrenner Field capacity is capped at 10,046. It's the attendance number reached for all three games this past weekend with the Los Angeles Dodgers in town.
