Lance McCullers Jr. was placed on the 15-day injured list by the Astros due to right shoulder inflammation, retroactive to May 16. Nate Pearson was reinstated from the 15-day injured list in a corresponding roster move. Jake Meyers was reinstated from the 10-day injured list. Shay Whitcomb was optioned by Houston as part of the same set of transactions. Additional updates were expected after the announcement.
