LeBron is approaching the end of his career and is no longer the featured player in Los Angeles after the Lakers pivoted toward building around Luka Doncic. A return to Cleveland would likely keep the Cavs' current core intact and increase the appeal for Mitchell to remain in Cleveland for at least one more season. Finishing a career in a Cavaliers uniform could be the motivating factor behind LeBron's potential move.
