A recent state inspection closed Lovely's restaurant in Miami after discovering a troubling rodent infestation. The inspectors noted 13 total violations, including three classified as High Priority. Mice were found freely roaming the establishment, with droppings noted on various surfaces such as food preparation tables and kitchen equipment. In addition to the presence of live and dead mice, other sanitation issues included grease buildup and soiled kitchen tools. Lovely's was able to reopen after addressing the health violations in a follow-up inspection.
Two mice died on a glue trap in an equipment storage room and five died on glue traps under a reach-in cooler. The sight of live and dead rodents showed significant sanitation issues.
Lovely's faced 13 total violations and three High Priority violations highlighted by the presence of mice droppings on food preparation tables and surrounding areas.
