If you can't drive, an airline just added a Miami flight to Florida's Gulf Coast
Briefly

American Airlines will initiate daily direct flights from Sarasota-Bradenton Airport to Miami International Airport, effective November 3. The flights will allow travelers to bypass lengthy car journeys and reach Miami in just over an hour. Departures from Sarasota are scheduled for 6:30 a.m., with returns from Miami at 9:30 p.m. Passengers can choose from a 76-seat Embraer 175 jet with first class and main cabin options. This marks the sixth nonstop route from Sarasota-Bradenton, enhancing connectivity to over 60 destinations in Latin America and the Caribbean.
American is pleased to connect Sarasota with our Miami hub, providing easier access to over 60 destinations in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Traveling by car from Bradenton to Miami takes almost four times longer than the new 1-hour, 10-minute flight from American.
The new daily flight will offer options on a 76-seat Embraer 175 jet, with first class and main cabin seating available.
Miami is our gateway to Latin America and the Caribbean, allowing customers to explore vibrant destinations or relax on beautiful beaches.
