The reason why a Miami fitness influencer won't face domestic violence charges
Briefly

Cohen, a notable figure in fitness, will not be charged with misdemeanor battery after her boyfriend, Hamm, declined to cooperate with the prosecution. Hamm stated that no battery occurred, expressed he wasn't afraid of Cohen, and voluntarily chose not to proceed with the case. The prosecution required Hamm's cooperation to establish proof of battery. Concurrently, Cohen faces multiple criminal charges including grand theft and unauthorized access of a computer linked to her ex-boyfriend's images.
The victim denied any battery occurring. He stated he was not in fear of the defendant. The victim stated that no one was forcing him or threatening him to drop charges.
Without Hamm's cooperation, prosecutors couldn't prove Cohen committed battery so, 'the State does not have a good faith basis upon which to file charges.'
Cohen is still facing first-degree grand theft, felony unauthorized access of a computer, and other charges related to her ex-boyfriend's computer and nude photos.
According to the arrest report, Hamm mentioned that he noticed Cohen recording their heated argument regarding their relationship.
