A memorial service for 27-year-old Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office Deputy Devin Jaramillo took place at loanDepot Park with thousands of colleagues and dignitaries, including Gov. Ron DeSantis, in attendance. Jaramillo was gunned down in the line of duty near Kendall less than two weeks earlier. Bagpipes and drums sounded through the stadium as mourners gathered to honor his service. His mother, Yolanda Jaramillo, spoke emotionally about his pride in wearing the badge, his sense of humor, and his memorable laugh. She pledged to miss him every day and said his story will endure.
