Prince Harry and Meghan call out the harmful effects of social media on today's youth | TechCrunch
"Let me share a number with you,"
"Four thousand. That's how many families the Social Media Victims Law Center is currently representing."
"We have witnessed the explosion of unregulated artificial intelligence, heard more and more stories from heartbroken families, and watched parents all over the world become increasingly concerned about their children's digital lives,"
Guests at the third annual Project Healthy Minds Gala honored Prince Harry and Meghan with Humanitarian of the Year for creating The Parents Network through the Archewell Foundation. The Parents Network supports families harmed by social media and previously displayed faces of young children on giant smartphone screens whose parents believe social media contributed to their deaths. Project Healthy Minds provides free mental health services focused on young people struggling in a tech-dominated world. Prince Harry reported that 4,000 families are currently represented by the Social Media Victims Law Center and warned about unregulated AI, corporate influence, and lobbyists suppressing the truth.
