Marvel Rivals' next patch could save support players
Briefly

Marvel Rivals' Strategist players have faced significant challenges in the current meta dominated by fast heroes like Iron Fist. Recognizing the struggles of support players, NetEase proposed a mid-season patch to enhance their damage output, making them more competitive and offering better team composition options. Additionally, some heroes, such as Groot and Captain America, will see adjustments to make them less difficult to defeat. Aiming for balanced gameplay, the developers intend to introduce Ultron in early May, further emphasizing the need for strategic patches to maintain equilibrium in the game.
In a meta where the fastest heroes are also the strongest heroes, Strategist players are working overtime just to survive.
NetEase said it wants to be 'cautious' about swinging things too far in one direction, by making small changes before doing anything drastic.
To help relieve the pressure supports face, NetEase said it will buff their damage 'to elevate their threat levels, which in turn, will increase team composition possibilities.'
The patch is expected to drop sometime in early May, which is the same patch that will add Ultron to the roster.
