Near-death experiences (NDEs) deeply affect individuals, leading to profound changes in how they view their careers. Interviewing 14 adults who experienced NDEs revealed that they gained insights about consciousness, life purpose, and collective oneness. Following these experiences, they shifted their focus from external measures of success, such as wealth and social status, to pursuing meaningful work. This change reflects a desire for well-being and fulfillment rather than materialistic pursuits. Interviewees expressed that formerly important possessions no longer held significance after their transformation.
Near-death experiences often transform individuals' perspectives on work, prioritizing meaningful pursuits over material success.
Interviewees reported that insights gained from NDEs shifted their focus away from corporate success to a sense of collective purpose and well-being.
