Large breasts create problems with shopping, clothing fit, hugging coworkers, and unwanted attention. Large breasts are sexualized and culturally desirable; in 2018 over 300,000 women received implants and many pursue hourglass shapes with waist trainers and surgery. Dr. Melissa Doft reports symptoms including neck and back pain, shoulder grooves and rashes, difficulty finding suitable bras and exercising. Over 43,000 women had reductions last year, and surgery carries risks.
