The show will include previews and reviews of national and international sporting events, interviews with leading figures, and coverage of breaking sports stories. Broadcasters Crowe and Hurley have been linked with hosting the evening slot as a female double-hander and have received positive reaction from RTÉ insiders. The Second Captains team were approached but did not reach a deal. Crowe is an award-winning sports journalist with RTÉ since 2016 and recently returned from maternity leave.
