The Golden Globes Awards added a Best Podcast category to recognize excellence in podcasts alongside movies and television. Twenty-five podcasts were nominated, listed alphabetically, spanning news, true crime, comedy, sports, and opinion formats. The nominated programs include network-produced shows and independent series, featuring titles such as The Daily, The Joe Rogan Experience, Pod Save America, Call Her Daddy, and Stuff You Should Know. Luminate, an audio analytics company, determined the eligibility list. The inclusion of a Best Podcast category represents mainstream recognition of podcasting as a major media category and broadens awards coverage beyond traditional screen-based content.
