Sunny Nagpaul joined City Limits as a full-time reporter covering the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA), the largest public housing community in the country. She is a writer and filmmaker and previously worked as a Tow Journalism Fellow and production coordinator at FRONTLINE PBS. Her reporting experience includes work for Fortune Magazine, the Baltimore Banner, and Documented. She earned a master’s degree at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY in 2023. City Limits said it will produce vital reporting for the more than 500,000 New Yorkers who live in NYCHA. City Limits also operates City Within a City, a NYCHA-focused project launched in 2022 with support from the New York Community Trust.
