Brewers, Royals To Return To Main Street Sports
"There is nothing more important to us than connecting with and making our games available to our great fans,"
"Our viewership is growing and continues to rank among the best in baseball, both through linear cable and streaming."
"Our multi-platform strategy drove strong viewership growth last season, and we look forward to working together to expand their audience reach and drive fan engagement,"
The Milwaukee Brewers reached a new agreement with Main Street Sports, owner of FanDuel Sports Network Wisconsin, ensuring the Brewers will return to that channel in 2026. The deal’s length was not disclosed. The regional sports network model has weakened due to cord-cutting and streaming, causing several MLB clubs to lose RSN deals and shift to MLB-run direct-to-consumer broadcasts, which can reduce team revenue despite fewer blackouts for fans. The Kansas City Royals exercised their mutual option to remain with Main Street Sports for 2026. Both organizations cited growing viewership and multi-platform audience gains.
