The analysis covered 128 independent agencies that had been clients for more than 60 days, measuring performance across 101 insurance-related keywords. The study generated 2,661 AI search queries across three AI search platforms. Results showed 98% of agencies achieved one or more top three rankings, and only two agencies were invisible across all providers for an entire keyword set. Average ranking position was 2.9 in ChatGPT. Visibility rates varied by platform, with ChatGPT at 77%, Claude at 80%, and Gemini at 71%. Locafy also reported top 10 appearances 65% to 75% of the time and cited multiple number one rankings for common insurance search terms.
