Google is testing a new button in the local pack that says “Check real-time stock.” The button appears next to “more places” in search results. After clicking, Google prompts the user with a question and then confirms the location to check. The feature also works in AI Mode. The capability extends Google’s existing “call stores and track inventory and prices” functionality that has been rolled out gradually. The flow is designed to connect searchers with up-to-date product availability tied to a selected location.
