Dentsu Group acquired Shift7 Digital and will incorporate the agency as a subsidiary of Merkle. Shift7 specializes in improving online customer experiences for manufacturers, distributors and their customers and optimizing B2B marketing and sales operations. The agency was founded in 2002 and received investment from Salesforce Ventures in late 2021, holding Salesforce Crest Partner status. Shift7 will join Merkle's experience and commerce arm, a global practice focused on CX, technology, commerce, digital messaging, loyalty and promotions. The acquisition supports Dentsu's push to grow revenue from customer experience and commerce capabilities.
