The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission issued a Compliance Notice to Donal Skehan on July 28 over Instagram posts promoting his Wind Shore Goods brand. The CCPC identified three posts promoting goods and events offered by Wind Shore Goods, including olive oil, crockery and running events, and found disclosure labels did not clearly mark paid promotions. The notice directed retrospective updates where appropriate and required explicit future disclosure when promotions are paid, including for his own-brand products. The CCPC will inspect his social channels for compliance. The Advertising Standards Authority signed a data-sharing agreement effective 18 August 2025 allowing the ASA to share suspected-breach information with the CCPC for investigation.
