"Nani's career began at Sporting in his homeland of Portugal, before the exciting winger moved to Manchester United back in 2007 for a fee thought to be in the region of 17m. He lived with sporting icon Cristiano Ronaldo at the start of his career in England, with the now Al-Nassr star taking the Red Devils' newest recruit under his wing. Nani scored on his debut in a pre-season friendly against Shenzhen and would go on to become a huge success at Old Trafford."

Nani began his career at Sporting CP in Portugal before moving to Manchester United in 2007 for a fee around £17m. He lived with Cristiano Ronaldo early in his England career and scored on his debut in a pre-season friendly against Shenzhen. He won four Premier League titles and the 2008 UEFA Champions League with Manchester United. After eight years at Old Trafford he returned to Sporting on loan, later leaving permanently for Fenerbahce on a three-year deal, scoring 12 goals in 47 appearances. He then signed for Valencia on a three-year contract and suffered four muscular injuries during that season.
