Earps shone for England again at the following year's World Cup, conceding just four goals in seven games as England made it to the final, where she saved a Jennifer Hermoso penalty but was unable to prevent a heartbreaking 1-0 defeat."
Mary Earps played for numerous clubs including Leicester City, Nottingham Forest, Doncaster Belles, Coventry City, Birmingham City, Bristol Academy, Reading, Wolfsburg and Manchester United. She was Sarina Wiegman's first-choice goalkeeper at Euro 2022 and earned a place in the team of the tournament after helping England to victory. Earps conceded four goals in seven games at the 2023 World Cup, saved a penalty in the final, and won the Golden Glove despite England's 1-0 defeat. She received the 2023 BBC Sports Personality of the Year, was made an MBE in 2024, moved to PSG, and helped Manchester United lift the FA Cup before announcing her retirement ahead of the following Euros.
