Manchester United confirmed the signing of striker Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig for approximately €85 million, which includes achievable add-ons and a sell-on clause for future transfer fees. United's summer spending has now exceeded £200 million with this acquisition following the arrivals of Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha. Sesko expressed excitement about the club's history and competitive future. He indicated a strong preference for joining Manchester United over other options, including Newcastle United. A friendly match will also be organized between the two clubs in the future.

Sources told ESPN the deal is worth in the region of €85 million ($98.8m), including add-ons.
