United Airlines Jet Clips Wing of Another at SFO, Emergency Crews Respond

The incident occurred around 10:45 pm at the International Terminal involving UA Flight 863, bound for Sydney, and UA Flight 877, headed for Hong Kong. Both planes were loaded with passengers, but fortunately, there were no injuries. Following the event, United worked on rebooking affected passengers while videos showed repair crews inspecting the damages. Last night, a United aircraft made contact with the wing of another United aircraft while pushing back from a gate at San Francisco International Airport.
As Flight 863 was pushing back, a ramp controller could be heard on an ATC recording telling the pilot to make sure the other plane is watching.
