Manchester United has launched its redeveloped Carrington training ground, focusing on creating a world-class environment for staff and players. Minority owner Jim Ratcliffe emphasized the importance of this £50 million project, which aims to enhance performance on the field. Ratcliffe stated that the redevelopment reflects the club's ambition, while CEO Omar Berrada highlighted the project's goal of unifying the club with a shared footballing vision, fostering collaboration among staff and players. The new facility will also accommodate most of the club's executive leadership team and additional staff members.
Following a review of the facility last year, we made a quick decision to invest significantly in the creation of a world-class performance environment for staff and players to reflect our ambition and vision for Manchester United.
This project represents a clear step towards unifying every part of the club around a shared footballing vision. By bringing our staff and players closer together in one integrated environment, we are creating a culture of collaboration and high-performance.
