Bruno Fernandes is expected to stay at Manchester United this summer, despite Al Hilal's interest and a substantial proposed offer of around £100 million. The Saudi club aimed to sign the Portugal midfielder, notably wanting him as a marquee player before the FIFA Club World Cup. Nevertheless, United sources indicate that Fernandes, under contract until 2027, has decided against pursuing the Al Hilal opportunity after discussions with his family. This marks the second consecutive summer Fernandes embraces stability at United, rebuffing other clubs' advances as part of their rebuilding efforts.
Al Hilal were willing to pay around £100 million ($135m) for Fernandes and put together a wage package that would have significantly increased his salary.
United believe the 30-year-old has decided to stay at Old Trafford, where he is under contract until 2027.
