Roma sporting director Ricky Massara indicated that interest in Joshua Zirkzee may be deprioritised following Manchester United's decision to sack manager Ruben Amorim. Zirkzee has played limited minutes and attracted interest from clubs including Roma and West Ham. The managerial change at United raises the possibility that Zirkzee could remain at the club, and Massara confirmed there are no active contacts at present. Roma still aim to strengthen attacking options to improve goal conversion. Manchester United value Zirkzee at around £30.5 million and have squad depth concerns that could limit departures, including for Kobbie Mainoo.
