Gyokeres has been in unstoppable form this season, contributing a total of 58 goals and assists in all competitions for club and country. The 26-year-old would be an absolutely enormous upgrade on the likes of Hojlund if he could replicate that kind of form in the Premier League.
Amorim only left Sporting to take over at Man Utd a few months ago, but it's not too surprising to see that he's eager to raid his former club already.

Gyokeres has exploded into some world class form for Sporting, while his previous club was Championship side Coventry City, so producing that kind of form in the English top flight would be a very different challenge.
