A fan named Joel Garner was knocked unconscious by security while attending the Oasis reunion concert at Heaton Park, Manchester. He was with his sister and friends when a gate crasher prompted security to sprint after him. During the pursuit, security collided with Joel, causing him to lose consciousness and have a seizure. Despite catching the gate jumper, security expressed indifference towards Joel's injury. He was taken to the hospital and missed the entire concert, although his CT scan returned normal. Joel is devastated by the incident and seeks tickets for future shows.
Evie recounted, “There were five to seven security guards fully sprinting, tailing this guy who jumped over the gate. There was one massive pile-up and they clattered into the guy who jumped the barrier and Joel.”
Joel expressed his disappointment, stating, 'I am absolutely gutted to not have seen Oasis. We were just looking forward to having a good time and literally within 15 minutes all hell breaks loose.'
