Michael Carrick was appointed Manchester United interim head coach until the end of the season. Roy Keane joked on the Stick To Football podcast that Carrick's wife Lisa might be doing the team talk, referencing a 2014 fallout after Lisa criticised Keane on social media following a Champions League defeat. Lisa's earlier social-media response called Keane a profanity. Carrick said the jibe did not bother him and that he does not feel extra pressure from former players turned pundits. Carrick said the focus for him, players and staff is on succeeding for the club ahead of the Manchester derby.
