Manchester United reveal Manuel Ugarte asking price: report
"Ugarte was signed from Paris Saint-Germain in summer 2024 in a deal rising to 50m with add-ons, but he has struggled to hold down a regular place in the side."
"Ugarte's days at Old Trafford appear to be numbered and The Sun reports that he will be available to leave for just 25m this summer."
"Ratcliffe and his Ineos team will be particularly frustrated that Ugarte's spell at Old Trafford has not worked out, as they are said to have watched the 35-cap international closely during his season with PSG."
Manuel Ugarte has struggled to secure a regular position at Manchester United since his transfer from Paris Saint-Germain in summer 2024. He has started only 10 games this season and has been a bit-part player since the sacking of coach Ruben Amorim. With three years left on his contract, United is looking to sell him for around 25 million, a significant loss from the initial 42 million paid. Co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe aims to revamp the squad as the club prepares for a return to the Champions League.
