Dundee United has secured forward Zac Sapsford from Western Sydney Wanderers on a three-year deal, pending clearance. The 22-year-old Australian has previously played in the UK and scored 11 goals in 43 matches for the Wanderers. Manager Jim Goodwin praised Sapsford as a dynamic player with a strong ability to finish and involvement in team play. He expressed excitement over Sapsford's potential impact and development at the club, especially after losing their top scorer from last season, Sam Dalby.
The addition of Zac represents a terrific piece of business for the club - to have a player of his calibre secured so early in the window is incredibly satisfying.
He's a dynamic forward with a killer instinct in the final third off both feet or with his head, and also has the awareness to intelligently bring his team-mates into play.
