Manchester United concluded their pre-season with a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford, winning the Snapdragon Cup on penalties against Fiorentina. Ruben Amorim acknowledged that although the team secured the win, their performance revealed areas that needed improvement. He pointed out difficulties especially at the start of both halves, highlighting a lack of fluidity in their play. Amorim also mentioned the new signings, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, are still adapting but are expected to enhance their performance throughout the season.
"Today was a tough match. It was important for us to take out the feeling of playing at Old Trafford. I think we had some difficulties, especially in the beginning of the first half, and in the beginning of the second half."
