Scotland keeper Gunn joins Forest after contract expiry

Angus Gunn has signed a one-year deal with Nottingham Forest after his contract with Norwich City expired. He made 35 appearances in the Championship for Norwich last season. Starting his career at Norwich, Gunn later moved to Manchester City and then Southampton before returning to Norwich. He expressed excitement about joining Forest, a club he deems historic. He aims to contribute with his experience in a competitive goalkeeper group. Gunn has represented Scotland 16 times, featuring in all three Euro 2024 group games.
Gunn made 35 Championship appearances for Norwich City last season but left the Canaries when his contract expired in May.
Gunn said Forest 'is a historic club on an exciting journey and I'm looking forward to being a part of it and getting to work.'
Gunn has been capped 16 times for Scotland and started all three of their group games at Euro 2024 last year.
He will provide competition for Matz Sels who was ever present for Forest in the league last season, keeping 13 clean sheets.
