Phil Foden scored in each half as Manchester City beat Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League, with Erling Haaland and Rayan Cherki also scoring and Waldemar Anton pulling one back for Dortmund. Foden’s goals were his 19th and 20th in the Champions League in his 64th appearance and his first multi-goal game in the competition. Since the start of 2023–24 he has scored 11 goals from outside the box for City, the most by any Premier League player in that period. The win moved City to fourth in the group and extended a dominant recent home record.
