The former Pirate played three seasons at ECU and recorded a 2.76 ERA with a 19-2 record in 195.1 innings with 295 strikeouts. This past Saturday, Yesavage was welcomed back by his alma mater for ECU's game against the University of Charlotte 49ers. Before the game, Yesavage led the ECU fans to the school's chants of "purple" and "gold" at midfield."
