World Series open thread: Game 6
"What we don't know yet is who'll be lifting the trophy once it's all said and done. Old friend Kevin Gausman could potentially put himself in a position to where he'll never have to pay for a meal or a drink in the city of Toronto (and possibly the whole country) if he delivers a strong performance that leads to a Blue Jays win tonight."
"With that being said, Yoshinobu Yamamoto is on an absolutely tear on the mound right now and if there's anybody who can be relied upon to be a stopper at this point, it's Yamamoto. He's delivered in amazing fashion over his past two starts and he'll have to figure out a way to stop Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and the Blue Jays lineup from ending this thing right here and now, tonight."
The baseball season will conclude in Canada with the championship still undecided. Kevin Gausman could become a local favorite in Toronto by delivering a strong start that produces a Blue Jays win tonight. Yoshinobu Yamamoto has been dominant on the mound and has posted impressive performances in his past two starts. Yamamoto must find a way to limit Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and the Blue Jays' potent lineup to prevent the series from ending tonight. The outcome will determine whether a Game 7 is necessary or the Blue Jays clinch the title tonight.
