Batting practice and pitcher work preceded an electric first pitch by Mad Max. Bo Bichette hit a huge home run to center giving Toronto a 3-0 lead and energizing the crowd. Max Muncy homered in the eighth, and Rojas tied the game in the ninth, calming Toronto fans. The game entered extra innings, and Will Smith hit a go-ahead home run for Los Angeles.
