Syracuse Mets stay hot, beat Buffalo

The Syracuse Mets won 4-3 against the Buffalo Bisons at Sahlen Field. The Mets scored first in the second inning and extended their lead with a home run by Luke Ritter in the third. The Mets had a strong pitching performance, allowing only one hit in the first six innings. Buffalo managed to score in the seventh inning and nearly closed the gap in the ninth with a two-run home run, but Syracuse held on for the victory.

Syracuse continues to pace the International League in the second half of the season with a 26-7 record, winning 12 of their last 13 games.
Syracuse got the scoring started in the top of the second inning with a single from Omar De Los Santos, scoring Yonny Hernandez to take a 1-0 lead.
Syracuse doubled its lead in the sixth with Hernandez's two-run single that extended the advantage to 4-0.
