Luis F. Castillo accepted an outright assignment to Triple-A Norfolk after going unclaimed on waivers by the Orioles, who designated him for assignment. He has yet to play in a big league game for Baltimore since joining the team in a DFA trade from Seattle. Castillo has spent time on the minor league injured list, making only a few rehab starts so far.
