Kyle Tucker makes generous donation to Dodgers charity
"There are a lot of great ball clubs out there with great teams, and they all have unique things that make them great," Tucker said. "But kind of like I said, I think this organization from the top down is first-class, and the team that these guys put together and assembled to give a great product for the fan base and the city to go out there and compete for a championship kind of speaks for itself."
"The Dodgers have the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation, their charity group that has initiated efforts to help the local community throughout Los Angeles. The initiatives serve youth by expanding access to baseball and helping improve the education system. Additionally, there are coach training, scholarships, and food drives that help at various points throughout the year, including seasonal events and year-long initiatives."
Kyle Tucker agreed to a four-year, $240 million deal with the Los Angeles Dodgers that includes charity payments to the team’s foundation. The contract specifies $200,000 payments to the Dodgers Foundation in 2026 and 2027, increasing to $250,000 in 2028 and 2029. The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation runs programs expanding youth access to baseball, supporting education, providing coach training, scholarships, and organizing food drives and seasonal and year-long initiatives. Kyle Tucker also operates the Kyle Tucker Foundation, which supports hospice care programs and other community causes. Contract details include a $64 million signing bonus split across dates and additional scheduled payments and options through 2029.
