Joe Buck, recently known as the voice of ESPN's Monday Night Football, received the Ford C. Frick Award for excellence in baseball broadcasting and is the 50th winner. He and his father Jack Buck become the only father-son duo to win the honor. Joe Buck will receive the award during the Hall's July 25, 2026 awards presentation in Cooperstown and at 56 is the second-youngest recipient. Buck began his career calling Triple-A Louisville Redbirds games, joined Cardinals broadcasts with his father in 1991, and worked those broadcasts through 2007. Jack Buck received the Frick Award in 1987 and died in June 2002 at age 77.
