Jaime Jarrin Foundation Hosting NLDS Watch Party To Unveil New Mexican Lager
"Fans are invited to join Jarrín and his foundation, beginning at 5 p.m. PT, ahead of the 6:08 p.m. start time for Game 3 between the Philadelphia Phillies and Los Angeles Dodgers. Customers in attendance will get an opportunity to be among the first to try a new Mexican lager created in recognition of the longtime Spanish voice of the Dodgers. Proceeds from sales of "La Voz" will support the foundation's scholarship efforts."
"Jarrín became the Dodgers' Spanish-language play-by-play announcer in 1959 and held the role for 64 years before retiring after the 2022 season. Jarrín has remained connected to the Dodgers organization by participating in various events and initiatives. He recently was celebrated among the long-time employees with at least 25 years of service with the Dodgers, and received the fourth annual Tommy Lasorda I Bleed Dodger Blue Award."
Jaime & Blanca Jarrín Foundation will host a watch party at Pro-Five Brewing Company in Upland, Calif., beginning at 5 p.m. PT before Game 3 of the NLDS. Attendees can be among the first to try a new Mexican lager called "La Voz," with proceeds from sales supporting the foundation's scholarship program. "La Voz" is currently available only at Pro-Five Brewing Company, with wider distribution expected soon. Jaime Jarrín served as the Dodgers' Spanish-language play-by-play announcer from 1959 until his 2022 retirement after 64 years. The foundation has raised more than $225,000 in scholarship funds and continues uplifting the next generation of Latino leaders. Jarrín remains active with Dodgers events and recently received the Tommy Lasorda I Bleed Dodger Blue Award.
